INTEGRATIVE THERAPY

COMING SOON.......

My commitment to continuing professional development I am currently working towards gaining  professional qualifications in Hypnotherapy and Homeopathy. As soon as they have been completed my website will be updated accordingly.

THE BENEFITS OF THERAPY
Whilst your reason for seeking therapy may not disappear you will be able to build your resilience in dealing with this difficult time and that can help with other areas of your life. Therapy can be looked at as a tool box, equipping you with extra tools to deal with moments in life that can be difficult.
Your mental health/wellness is just as important as your physical health.

REASONS FOR ATTENDING THERAPY

There may be a specific issue that you wish to explore in therapy but therapy can also be helpful for other reasons such as:

  • To love and accept yourself

  • To improve all relationships

  • To be a better parent

  • To thrive in your career

  • To understand your purpose in life

  • To focus on yourself and have space for you

This is not an exhaustive list but just a few of the many other reasons why you might attend therapy.

Other things that you might attend therapy for are :

  • Anger issues

  • Relationship issues

  • Sexual Abuse

  • Domestic Abuse

  • Bereavement

  • Anxiety

  • Stress

  • Depression

  • Addictions

Again this list is not exhaustive but merely a guide, your reasons for coming will be individual. A more detailed list is available on my counselling directory website.  A link to that page is availbale through the contact page.

WHAT TO EXPECT AND PREPARING FOR THERAPY
It can be quite daunting when you first consider coming to therapy whatever your reasons may be. I will do my best to talk you through what will happen in our first meeting. All you need to do is bring yourself, Worries can include where do I start, ?what do I say? All this is natural. It is also important that you are comfortable with your therapist as that will help with your journey. So if after the first meeting you are not comfortable  please do say so,  your therapist will appreciate your honesty. The session will be your time and space to utilise as your please.
You could purchase a journal to compliment your therapy and record the changes hat have been made throughout. When you look back you may be surprised at how things have changed.
